Nidji lewat beberapa karyanya menyuarakan semangat kerukunan itu, seperti dalam lagu ”Arti Sahabat” dan ”Tuhan Maha Cinta”. Liriknya bercerita tentang cinta pada kehidupan, keluarga, dan pekerjaan.

Pekan depan, Nidji memulai penggarapan album keempat, dengan semangat tetap menyuarakan generasi muda seusianya. ”Kami bercerita tentang bagaimana anak muda melihat cinta, persahabatan, impian, dan cara meraihnya,” ucap Giring.

Selain Giring, awak Nidji lainnya, Andro (bas), Adri (drum), Rama (gitar), Randy (kibor), dan Ariel (gitar), menjanjikan musik yang lebih bervariasi dalam album terbaru nanti.

Gaya Hidup Reisa Kartikasari Berubah Setelah Terpilih Menjadi Puteri Indonesia Lingkungan 2010

Puteri Indonesia Lingkungan 2010, Reisa Kartikasari, Kamis (17/2) ini akan bertolak ke Papua. Dia akan bekerja sama dengan Green Edelweiss Foundation Papua, sebuah lembaga swadaya masyarakat yang peduli terhadap lingkungan, untuk penanaman pohon di Papua.

Awal bulan ini Reisa telah mengikuti program Green School di SDIT Bina Insan Kamil, Sukmajaya Depok, Jawa Barat. Selain menanam pohon, Reisa juga menyosialisasikan berbagai persoalan, seperti pengelolaan lingkungan, disiplin membuang sampah, serta cara hidup ramah lingkungan.

”Pada dasarnya, Green School adalah program edukasi tentang lingkungan bagi anak-anak. Baru pertama kali saya mengikuti program ini. Menurut saya, sangat positif,” kata dokter umum lulusan Universitas Pelita Harapan ini.

Meski baru menjabat sebagai Puteri Indonesia Lingkungan 2010 selama empat bulan, Reisa sudah mendapatkan banyak manfaat. Selain pengalaman dan pengetahuan baru, manfaat lain yang dirasakannya adalah perubahan gaya hidup.

”Ternyata, banyak hal kecil yang bisa saya lakukan untuk berkontribusi bagi lingkungan. Dulu, mandi saja bisa setengah jam. Sekarang enggak lagi. Saya jadi tahu kalau dengan menghemat air saya bisa turut menyelamatkan hutan,” kata perempuan kelahiran Malang, Jawa Timur, 24 Desember 1985, ini.
